Mint Stick Brownies

Notes: This recipe is my mother's, Ruth Apap.

Ingredients:

2 squares baking chocolate
1 cup sugar
1 1/2 sticks butter
1/2 cup chopped nuts
1/4 teaspoon peppermint extract
2 each eggs
1/2 cup flour
1/8 teaspoon salt

Mint Stick Frosting

Instructions:
1. Melt chocolate and butter together in a double boiler.  Cool and add beaten eggs and remaining ingredients.

2. Pour mixture into a well greased 9 inch square pan.

3. Bake in a 350 degree oven for 20 - 25 minutes.
