German Chocolate Cake Caramel Cake Filling
Notes: Evelyn (Mom, Grandma) tops German Chocolate Cake with these, especially at birthdays.
Ingredients
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 1/2 tablespoons flour
1/2 cup evaporated milk
1/2 cup oleo
vanilla, to taste
Instructions
1. In a saucepan mix together brown sugar and flour until there are no lumps. Add evaporated milk and oleo.
2. Cook slowly over low heat stirring once in a while until thick.
3. Add vanilla.
