Cheesy Potatoes

Preparation Time: 45 minutes

Notes:
I prefer Beakstones sour cream.
One medium sized potato chip bag is sufficient for chips
This delicious recipe is from the back of the Ore Ida Bag!

Try making them with sweet potatoes!

Ingredients:

1 bag hash browns, frozen
1 can cream of chicken soup
2 cups sour cream
1 1/2 teaspoons salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
3 each green onion
2 cups grated cheddar cheese
1/4 cup butter
2 cups potato chips

Instructions:


  1. Preheat oven to 350 F.
  2. Grease a 9x13 pan.
  3. Stir together the soup, sour cream, salt, pepper, onions, grated cheddar in a sauce pan on medium heat.
  4. Add potatoes when the above is thoroughly mixed together.
  5. Spread mixture into the pan.
  6. Add the crushed potato chips and butter mixture.
  7. Bake at 350 F for approximately  30 minutes or until golden brown.
