Preparation Time: 30 minutes
Notes: Use Italian Stewed tomatoes.
Ingredients:
1 pound ground turkey, browned and drained
1 cup onion, chopped
2 cans stewed tomatoes
1 cup tomato sauce
1 cup water
4 teaspoons chili powder
2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
2 teaspoons white wine vinegar
1 whole bay leaf
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
Instructions:
1. In a blender, mix tomatoes, sauce, water, and dry ingredients.
2. In a saucepan brown onions and turkey.
3. Drain and add the tomato mixture. Add remaining ingredients and stir well. reduce heat to low and let simmer, stirring occasionally, until chili is thick, 25 to 30 minutes.
4. Remove bay leaf before stirring.
