Notes: This recipe was a weeknight favorite in our house growing up. My mom could put it in the oven when she got home from school and it would be ready after Dad came back from work. Recipe written by Lynne Donnelson.
Ingredients:
4 bone-in pork chops (1-1 1/2 inches thick)
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 box Uncle Bens Long Grain Wild Rice
1 packet of dry onion soup mix
2 cups water
Instructions:
- Spray pan with cooking spray
- Preheat over to 325 degrees
- Spread rice over bottom of pan
- Place pork chops over rice
- Sprinkle onion soup mix and rice seasoning packets over pork chops
- Mix can soup with water and spread over top of pork chops
- Cover tightly with foil
- Bake 3 hours
