Yield: 1 cookie
Notes: This is the Christmas cookie Debbie makes every year.
Ingredients:
2 cups shortening
6 ounces cream cheese
2 cups sugar
2 whole egg
1 teaspoon vanilla
5 cups flour
Butter Frosting
Instructions:
1. Cream shortening, sugar, and cream cheese til fluffy. Beat in egg, vanilla, and flour.
2. The dough may be put through a cookie press or can be rolled out with a rolling pin and cut out with cookie cutters.
3. Bake cookies at 375 degrees for 8 to 10 minutes. Take out when just turning light brown.
4. I frost with Butter Frosting. This is a double recipe.
