Chop Suey Casserole


Ingredients:
1 pound chop suey meats, pork, beef, veal cubed in equal amounts
1 cup celery, diced
1/2 cup onion, diced
1 whole green pepper, if desired

2 cups water
1/3 cup rice, raw
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 can chicken rice soup
2 tablespoons soy sauce
salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions:

1. Cook meat until nicely browned, add a little water and simmer 45 minutes.

2. Add water, rice, soup, soy sauce, salt, and pepper.

3. Pour into a casserole dish and bake in a 350 degree oven for 1 hr. or until rice is done.

4. Mix half through baking so rice doesn't stick to bottom.
